Status
A good education empowers children to fulfill their dreams and become productive members of society. Those with a Bachelor’s degree or higher are more likely to be employed, earn higher incomes, and have better health outcomes than those with only a high school diploma or less. In addition, a highly skilled and educated workforce is a key driver of innovation and economic growth for a community. Standardized test scores represent the educational performance of students and provide a proxy for the quality of the education system in the Tahoe Basin.
