Comprehensive survey and documentation of archaeological and historical resources located in park unit. Efforts to identify historic properties in the park involves archival research, reviewing historical maps, and intensive coverage pedestrian survey. The survey will likely identify artifacts, features, and archaeological sites associated with ancestral Washoe occupation along and early Euroamerican land use. Results will be reported in a cultural resources inventory report which will then be used to develop an updated interpretative program for the park unit.
