01/09/2024 8:34 AM | Kevin Fromherz | The overall goal of the project was to improve and expand the parking and recreation opportunities around the new Spooner Lake Visitor Center. Two new picnic pavilions were constructed for larger groups and additional picnic areas several that are ADA accessible were included. New parking allows greater ease of snow plowing and will make it easier for the park to stay open during the winter months. New accessible trails are now provided down to the lake. Future projects will improve lake access and backcountry trail access. | ||
