This project tracks the number of projects along scenic shoreline units around Lake Tahoe that meet scenic quality standards. This program implements TRPA's scenic standards through permit conditions to reduce the visual dominance of piers, boathouses, and other structures, including buildings, located in the shorezone and along the shoreline.

| 10/27/2014 3:11 PM | Jeanne McNamara | 2010 Reporting Note: To get the funding for this project I took the total private unfunded need from the EIP Update for this action priority which is $7 million. I then took the targets in Appendix 3 for this action priority which is 150 projects and divided $7 million by 150 projects which gives an estimated cost of $46,666 for each project. 64 projects reported for this performance measure times $46,666 (estimated cost per project) gives us $2,986,624. All these projects were residential so no commercial projects were reported. 35 in Placer County, 6 in El Dorado County, 5 in Washoe County, 1 in the City of South Lake Tahoe, and 17 in Douglas County. |
