01/15/2016 7:54 PM | Genevieve Villemaire | SEZ areas in which impervious coverage was removed were treated with barriers to discourage vehicle access, boulders to improve the natural appearance of the area and wood chip mulch to help stabilize exposed soil areas. Within two years of completion, riparian vegetation began to re-colonize the area which is evidence of accomplishing project objectives. To accomplish the Fallen Leaf Campground BMP Retrofit the LTBMU completed a Categorical Exclusion NEPA document based on a proposed action which incorporated design criteria from numerous perspectives and stakeholders. Topographic survey provided necessary background information to support the development of project implementation contract plans and documents. |
