This project supports and expands the Interpretive and Conservation Education programs currently in place around the Lake Tahoe Basin. Utilizing partner relationships, such as the South Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition, these programs provides K-12 and adult education programs around the Lake. These programs promote forest, land and water stewardship education for all ages in order to create local community support for the various goals of the EIP. This project also proposes to develop a Basin-wide interpretive plan.
