Basics
Establish a sustainable trail system that will meet current and future access needs to Forest Service lands while minimizing impacts to resources. Trail BMPs include decommissioning, reconstruction, reroute and road to trail conversions. Phase III - Project funds the final stages of design & construction of the Angora Fire Trail Project to provide water quality retrofit of the non-motorized recreation trails in & near the Angora Fire area. BMPs will be installed at public trail system access point near the intersection of Sawmill Rd and Lake Tahoe Blvd and Incline Trails. implement reconstruction and BMP installation on existing trails within the Incline Trail Plan.

05/21/2014 6:04 PM System Round 10 BLM SNPLMA Project #F147 is Phase III which follows Round 9 Phase II. In addition to the reported performance achievements for 2010, 9.5 miles of system and non-system trails are planned to be obliterated and construction of 2 trail crossing upgrades (multi-use bridge & one stream ford). Proposed action for this project may change as a result of the ongoing NEPA process for the Angora Fire Restoration Project.
05/21/2014 6:03 PM System Round 9 BLM SNPLMA Project #F128. This Phase II project follows Round 8 SNPLMA Project - Basinwide Trail ATM Phase I. In addition to the reported performance achievements for 2009, 4 miles of trails are planned to be obliterated, 1 stream crossing is planned for restoration and 3 stream crossings are planned to be upgraded.
