Funding provides a grant to TRPA and Tahoe Transportation District to provide bus and trolley services to recreation sites in South Lake Tahoe and along the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Goals are to reduce air and water quality impacts and vehicle miles traveled by encouraging the use of mass transit in place of personal vehicle use and connecting existing public trasportation systems at the South and North Shores to Forest Service Recreation sites.
