Project Description

The Tahoe Hills Erosion Control Project is within the Tahoe Hills subdivision which is bordered by Highway 89 to the north and south, and by Lake Tahoe to the east . The Project area encompasses County Right of Way (ROW), Caltrans ROW, California Tahoe Conservancy, United States Forest Service, and privately owned property. The main goal of the Project is to reduce the very fine and fine sediment from the Tahoe Hills subdivision which will ultimately improve the clarity of Lake Tahoe.
