| 01/16/2018 12:29 PM | Chuck Taylor | 11/20/17 The fields are substantially complete and accepted by the City and LTCC. Post construction the newly place sod completed 10/5/17 required that no play activities be scheduled during the sod establishment period. | ||

While the existing field on the site was constructed with synthetic turf, the expansion project is intended for natural grass fields. , Given the budget and schedule constraints, the City plans to build the 2 fields shown as Phase 2 of the previously permitted Community Play Fields Project. (refer to Permit No. 20040647 and the approved plans stamped with a “Phase 2” project portion on 10/18/04). With exception of a few minor modifications, the project remains essentially the same as previously planned consisting of adding 2 multi-purpose play fields to the existing play field facility. The project is located on the Joint Powers Authority (JPA) site situated on a portion of Lake Tahoe Community College parcel 025-041-10 and a portion of City of South Lake Tahoe parcel 025-041-20. |
