Keep Tahoe Blue Schools is the League’s youth education program to provide environmental science and stewardship experiences for Lake Tahoe area students. The League connects Tahoe’s students with their environment and aims to foster a lifelong sense of appreciation and responsibility for Lake Tahoe through place-based education. Keep Tahoe Blue Schools partners with local organizations and agencies, teaches lessons in classrooms and on field trips, and includes an innovative multidisciplinary program, Curriculum for Lake Education, Awareness, and Responsibility (CLEAR), based on Common Core Standards to provide long-term learning opportunities.

The primary goal of the Keep Tahoe Blue Schools program is to teach students about the threats to Tahoe's legendary clarity. Outreach efforts encourage students to take efforts to reduce trash, teaches them about stormwater pollution, and educates them about aquatic invasive plants.
