This project would provide/enhance transit connections from Reno/Sparks to South Shore. It is a joint, collaborative project between Washoe Regional Transportation Commission and TTD. This would be a public subsidy of the current private operator and would enable to public agencies to utilize miles which would increase formula funding. Improving transit connections between Reno/Sparks and South Lake Tahoe would reduce reliance on the private automobile, thereby reducing GHG emissions from visitors and residents.
