Overview

Basics

Basics
This project would provide Capital funds to enter into a track lease agreement to extend rail infrastructure to Reno. Expanding regional connections to Tahoe that don't require a car are important to help us reach our future goals and vision for the region. The Capital Corridor is often where visitors begin their journey. During the 2018 Bi-State Consultation on Transportation great support was voiced for improving these connections and providing this feedback in the 2018 California State Rail Plan.
