Overview

Basics

Basics
This project complements the NTCD Marlette Creek SR28 Crossing Retrofit and Restoration Project. The South Fork of Marlette Creek is steep and incised with extensive bank erosion. In 2003, the LTBMU removed a man made dam on the S. Fork channel and created a new channel through the former lake bed. This channel eroded and destabilized following comletion of that project, and requires in-channel stabilization measures and fish habitat improvement. NEPA, permitting, and construction for restoration and stabilization of this S. Fork channel reach is included in this project.
