Overview

Basics

Basics
Restore 2,500 feet of stream and floodplain by strategic placement of large wood structures and boulders. Three sections of stream were identified in September 2017 Impacts were in response to multiple floods occurring over the winter of 2016/17. Two floods exceeded 20-year flood levels. Projects are located in untreated areas. Floods caused stream incision, bank erosion and sinuosity loss.
