Overview

Basics

Basics
The Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association (TAMBA) and the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit partnered to build nearly 5 miles of new trail in the Angora Fire burn area connecting neighborhoods to Angora Ridge and Fallen Leaf Lake. In 2017 TAMBA held over 60 volunteer trail days with about 150 volunteers and 2,000 hours of trail building. In addition, the new 2 mile Lily Lake Trail connects Lily Lake to Angora Ridge. This project captures the private funding contribution to the project; the USFS contribution is tracked in "Basin-wide Trail BMP Upgrades and Maintenance 01.01.04.0055 Project video: http://www.tamba.org/homepage/angora-trail-project-year-end-recap/
