Commute Tahoe is a TRPA program to help employers encourage their employees to bike, walk, carpool, or take transit to and from work. TRPA works with the Transportation Management Associations (TMA's), local jurisdictions, and employers to implement the program and tracks progress through an employer portal.

02/14/2023 12:38 PM Judy Weber Expenditures include contributions to the TMAs, Linking Tahoe website, Employer portal, Printing, and Bike month.
02/03/2023 12:31 PM Rebecca Cremeen TRPA continues to work with TMAs, and employers to advance the program. In 2022, TRPA and the working group developed communication tools and updated the employee survey including a Spanish version. In 2023, more employers will be targeted for participation, and TRPA will revise the code of ordinances.
01/13/2022 5:33 PM Judy Weber TRPA and regional partners are working to develop a program to implement TRPA’s Code of Ordinances Section 65.5. The pilot phase of the Commute Tahoe program concluded in December 2021. The next phase of the program will involve updating our code of ordinances to establish levels of participation, reporting, and compliance.
