Overview

Basics

Basics
The Tahoe Blue Crew program helps volunteers adopt an area impacted by litter anywhere in the Tahoe-Truckee region. This project trains participants to conduct litter cleanups, and arms volunteers with proper supplies and methods for collecting and submitting data that is crucial to informing the League’s advocacy and other litter solutions. A Tahoe Blue Crew can be a single individual, family, group who commit to conducting at least three cleanups at their adopted site each year. For those whose free time is scarce, they can still get involved as a #TahoeBlueGooder, and remove litter they find and report it using the Citizen Science Tahoe app.
