Overview

Basics

Basics
Project facilitates installation and maintenance of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) on developed parcels and through area-wide treatment to stabilize sediment and treat and infiltrate runoff before it enters Lake Tahoe. This project accounts for developed parcels issued BMP certificates and source control certificates for each calendar year. Accomplishments for this project are tracked under EIP Performance Measure 4, Parcels with Stormwater BMPs. Results for this PM 4 are brought into LT Info automatically via a connection to TRPA's BMP Database and are therefore not reported directly as part of this project's accomplishments.

No accomplishments to report for:
Year(s) 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023
Explanation Accomplishments for this project are reported under PM 4 - number of properties with BMPs. PM4 does not appear on the drop down of performance measures for projects as TRPA is the clearing house for BMP data basin-wide. TRPA's BMP database drives data directly to LTinfo. Accomplishments for all years selected are shown on the Parcels with Stormwater BMPs indicator page. PM 4 for 2023 derived from BMP accomplishment data from the BMP Database:
213 BMP Certificates (22 of which are Source Control Certificates) with SFR = 177, MFR = 5, and Commercial = 31
In 2023 TRPA re-issued 68 BMP Certificates (5 of which are Source Control Certificate) with a current date after verifying BMP maintenance.
